Choir Starts Next Week!

If you are a 4th - 5th grader, your parents or guardians can sign you up today!  Just follow the link below! The first rehearsal is on Thursday Sept. 12th from 7:10-7:40 am!

Here are the details.

Thank you for your excitement and support of the Wells Branch Chorale.  Rehearsals will begin Thursday September 12, 2013. Below, you will find the rehearsal schedule through December 2013.  The rehearsal time will be from 7:10- 7:40 AM every Tuesday and Thursday unless there is a school holiday or special rehearsal.  Choir members will enter in through the breeze way entrance at 7:10 am. They must go directly to Mrs. Koenig’s music room (Rm 210) for rehearsal.  In case of bad weather, we will meet at the front entrance underneath the covered area.

PLEASE NOTE that students will be dismissed from choir if they:

  •  miss 3 times for reasons other than illness (send in an excuse for each incident)
  •   have 4 tardies
  •  have 3 discipline warnings

It will be necessary to allow children to be video taped during performances.  No videos will be distributed or shown outside of the music rooms at Wells Branch Elementary.
    
Keep the line of cars moving all the way to the front entrance of the school.  Your child can walk to the music entrance.  We don’t want cars waiting in the street to enter.

Choir uniforms must be worn to each performance in order to participate.  The uniform consists of:
  • A nice pair of blue jeans with no writing or added decorations
  • A white shirt with a collar. There shouldn’t be any writing or decorations on the shirt.  We recommend a short sleeve shirt. All shirts should be tucked in at all performances.
The uniform should be ready by Dec 3, 2013.
