This Week in Class

4th-5th grades start bringing your recorders to class.  Bring it in before Sept 20th and earn a Wow! point.

Kinder will be working on steady beat, fast/slow, and vocal timbres.  They will be playing Orff instruments and starting the Popcorn dance.

1st will reviewing their comparative, preparing high/low, and working on their vocal production. They will be playing Orff instruments and dancing Fjaskern

2nd will Review L/S/M. They will practice all Rhythm known patterns, preparing the solfege do. For rhythm they will be preparing half note.  They will be introduced to Orff instruments. They will learn the Dance Fjaskern

3rd will prepare re and review half note. They will start learning songs for the Veterans' Day Performance.

4th will prepare high do and review 16th notes. They will be introduced to Orff instruments. They will learn the Dance Fjaskern.

5th will prepare low la and review syncopation. They will be introduced to Orff instruments. They will learn the Dance Fjaskern
